Reflexology
A Reflexology treatment consists of gentle pressure
applied to areas of the feet known as reflexes which are thought to correspond to different areas of the body.
It is a soothing, non-intrusive, hands on therapy
which is thought to tap into the body's own healing
mechanism relieving tension, regaining balance and
promoting well being.
The effect that reflexology may have on a person is completely individual, sometimes calming and sometimes energising or stimulating.
Jean practises Gentle Touch TM Reflexology which
has a light flowing approach with the focus being on comfort and relaxation.
Anecdotal evidence has shown that a course of reflexology may be helpful for any stress related condition: Anxiety or depression, fatigue, Insomnia, migraine and headaches, re balancing after childbirth, fertility issues, balancing during perimenopause and menopause, supporting after or during emotional trauma, grief or dealing with chronic illness.
Reflexology provides the soothing power of touch but it also gives the receiver the opportunity to talk over any worries they have in a calm and confidential setting. Reflexologists are good listeners, supporting the whole person holistically and promoting well being but it is important to emphasise that they do not diagnose, prescribe or cure.
A 75 minute reflexology treatment: £40
A course of at least 3 regular monthly
treatments booked in advance: £35
( per session)
Practical nutritional and lifestyle advice can be given alongside reflexology sessions helping the body to regain balance even more effectively.
Reflexology is not an alternative to seeking medical advice from your GP

I became affected by a debilitating condition medically known as post viral fatigue. This affected my mind and body to the extent that I was unable to function normally. Following months of incapacity I decided to try reflexology. From the first treatment the improvement to my overall feeling of well being was significant. Continued reflexology and reiki treatments have helped me re-balance and tune into body and mind. Further, I have achieved levels of meditation and relaxation that previous to this treatment I never knew existed.
In addition to the reflexology, the consultation and support provided by my practitioner has been invaluable. The care I have received has been a major factor in my recovery which is now almost complete. Having felt the numerous benefits I intend to continue the therapies on a regular basis."
